The McGregor Metalworking Companies have aggressively invested in state of the art metal splitting and pulley production technology providing an un-rivaled ability among our peers. Two of our facilities produce complete v-groove and poly-groove pulleys with welded hubs, retained bearings and an unlimited configuration of shafts and pulley stacks. Our excellence centers in machining and stamping morgal machine tool co. 500 small directly feed the pulley spinning operations to assure that our customer’s requirements are met continually. The McGregor production strategy uses a combination of manually fed and automated pulley cells to efficiently produce custom-designed pulley geometries in all volume ranges for one of the quickest turnarounds in the industry.

The end result is an unsurpassed understanding in what can be successfully commercially produced for all pulley applications. To be sure, it goes beyond the pulley design itself – once designed, tooling is then conceived and built for the actual splitting and spinning to begin. Every step along the way our quality group evaluates components as they move through the individual operations. Once complete, we then use a proprietary test stand to evaluate the pulley’s performance for design validation.
